Although Los Angeles Comic Con has a new look and another new name, much remains the same when it was affiliated with Stan Lee's POW! Entertainment. It maintains its mid-size comic con status and continues to honor all things pop-culture and comic book based entertainment. The extensive programming and diversity of panels confirms this is a fan-run convention. The exhibit hall hosts hundreds of artists and vendors, with a main stage showcasing top on-screen talent, comic book creators, artists and voice actors. With Halloween just around the corner L.A. Comic Con takes on a spooky vibe. In addition to the cosplay contests, there's a kids halloween contest.
