Phoenix Fan Fusion (formerly Phoenix Comic Fest and Phoenix Comicon) is a large independent convention with its strength in offering a broad range of nerd topics and activities, including panels, exhibits, film festival, film school, fright house, gaming, and children’s programming, just to name a few. And that is just indoors; there is a whole range of outdoor activities as well with live music, performers, a saber walk, and more. And let’s not forgot the evening programming at the host hotels each night of the convention with comedy shows, parties, and charity events. The con has taken on a more campus feel with evening programming at the host hotels and local establishments hosting live local music.
